Hey El Paso, I'm Stephanie. I also answer to Stephanie the Corporate Computer Babe, Smethanie and "Yo, crazy chick!" You can hear me bringing the best of the Web to the air Wednesdays on the Morning Show. Oh, and you can find me on Facebook and Twitter, too. Happy browsing!
I may spend most of my time in New York City, but it was in El Paso that I witnessed my first mugging! I was driving up Mesa yesterday with a KLAQ coworker when I had my mugging-witnessing cherry popped.
Another week of, what did Buzz call it? Abusing him to entertain El Paso on KLAQ.com? I may be horribly abusive, but here's my favorite results of this week's abuse in the best to move across the KLAQ.com wall:
You never know where love will find you. Often, it's in the most surprising of places. Sometimes you're sitting outside the El Paso library minding your own business and without warning, you find yourself sharing a connection with another living being. It's both invigorating and beautiful.
Hey El Paso! It's been a while and I miss you guys! While I may have been MIA lately, super awesome, fantastic, amazing posts on KLAQ.com haven't been! Check out some of the best to move across the wall on KLAQ
Holy awesome, Batman. The Tumbler Tour, featuring the Bat Tumbler and Bat Pod from The Dark Knight Rises rolled into Streetfest 2012 in El Paso Friday night and I was able to get an up close and personal tour with the dude who has the coolest job in America - Jim Johnson, the transportation manager at Wayne Enterprises. Jim says he gets to drive the Tumbler every day. Check out why I couldn't be more jealous!
Hey, El Paso! My liver has FINALLY recovered from Streetfest 2012 and I'm back in New York, missing your beautiful mountains, scorching sun and Chico's Tacos. Luckily I can be in El Paso in spirit by watching the wall move here on KLAQ.com. Check out some of my favorites to move across the wall since I was in the Sun City:
So, Fernie pointed out the other day that someone had posted a Missed Connection on El Paso's Craigslist about me. I responded to the fellow's post here on KLAQ.com. In his post, the man described every detail of the outfit I wore at Streetfest 2012 on Saturday night. Well, the author of my Missed Connection responded to my response and his response couldn't be any creepier.
You know you've made it when you're the subject of one of Craigslist's "Missed Connections." And by made it, I do mean, a stranger has likely dedicated some hand lotion and tissues to thoughts of you. Fernie tipped me off that a Missed Connection was posted about me on the El Paso Craigslist page after Saturday night's Streetfest festivities.
Day one of Streetfest 2012 was a blast -- with so much to see and do. While all the bands, Saliva, Filter, Theory of a Deadman AND the locals, were awesome, I had a dance party all by myself in the silent DJ booth!
