I saw this link on Facebook today, to a New York Times article about the demise of "courtship". The article raises a lot of interesting questions. Do people even try to "date", or just "hang out" by trying to include new girls/guys into their already planned activities? I remember back in 1985, my parents taking me to Sound Warehouse to let me shop for some new music. I had saved some money so I could buy what I wanted and didn't have to try to coerce them into parting with any cash to help. It was the coolest feeling to be able to buy my own music, my drug of choice.
