I came to El Paso in ’86 thinking I’d be here 2 years and move on. Still here! I grew up in San Diego surfing and riding my Dirt Bike. I still ride a Dirt Bike, but good surf is hard to come by in El Paso. I started at KLAQ as an overnight DJ, eventually forming a friendship with Big Al Jones and going on to do mornings on KLAQ ’87 - ’92. In 1995, I was given the opportunity to start a new station within our company, 93.1 KISS-FM. In 2003, I was asked to come back to KLAQ as Program Director. I am also Operations Manager for our group of stations. (KLAQ/KISS-FM/KROD)
I met my wife Barbara in El Paso and were married in 1997. We have a boy & a girl. I have many more children here at the station! I also received my Private Pilot’s license in 1997. I travel to San Diego & Austin to see family. I’m always happy to come back to El Paso and hear The Q! Thank YOU for Rockin’ with KLAQ!"

Eclipse Last Night
I set my alarm for midnight so I can see the Eclipse. I figured I'd wake my son up, take a quick look at the Moon, then back to bed.
This Parrot ROCKS!
I cried when I saw this Parrot sing Drowning Pool - "Bodies!" I think I'll try to get the bird to open for Balloonfest!
Christmas Lights ROCK!
Nothing says Christmas like Slayer music & Christmas lights! Enjoy!
Back To Work
So what do I do on my vacation? Surgery for my ACL. That was fun. Had a little mis-hap on the dirt bike when a friend ran into the back of me, making both of us take an oral dirt sample. Somehow the leg was twisted on the way down. So, it's on the mend...
