If you're a fan of classic bands like Black Sabbath, The Sword is a band you will want to check out this weekend! Stoner metal, doom metal or just plain great metal, Austinites The Sword are a band you will want to get to know. They've been to El Paso before and have been around since the early 2000s. The band has toured heavily since then and opened for some of the biggest names like Cluth, Lamb of God and even the almighty Metallica. Their last album was 2015's High Country and in 2016, the band redid the album as an acoustic and called it Low Country then released a live album Greetings From... in 2017.

If you were itching for some new work from The Sword you're in luck because they  will be releasing their newest work Used Future this Friday! Celebrate the new album with the band downtown right here in El Paso at Tricky Falls, located at 209 South El Paso Street. The doors open for this all ages show at 7 pm and it starts at 8 pm.
