An Atlantic City man no longer holds the world record for the largest striped bass. Albert McReynolds had held the record since catching a 78-pound striper back in 1982. The “Press of Atlantic City” is now reporting that the International Game Fish Association has certified an 81-pound, 14-ounce striper as the new world record. It was caught by Connecticut angler Greg Myerson on Long Island Sound on August 4th this year.
