Arcade 5K Run Coming To Wet N Wild Waterworld

A cool, new spin on 5K runs is coming!

The Arcade 5K run happens August 28th at Wet N Wild Waterworld. The course is themed around various, classic video games and actually puts runners "in" the games. Event coordinator Paul Pacillas told elpasoheraldpost.com that the run is "video game themed with multiple levels" and to expect:

"participants to be interactive on the run in a course that will have many of the video games that were popular in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. Participants will collect coins during the run to be redeemed for prizes at the end of the race.

Registration is $30 for individual runners or walkers, $100 for four-person teams or $200 for a team of 10. You can register online and a portion of the proceeds will benefit El Pasoans Fighting Hunger.
