Another El Paso highway will soon be on the closed list but, only for a day.

A visit to Juarez by Pope Francis in February has been confirmed during which, "the Papa" will hold a public mass. To ensure both his and the public's safety during the service, a portion of the Border Highway may be closed.

According to the EP Times:

officials in El Paso are considering closing the Cesar Chavez Border Highway directly across the border from where the pontiff will hold a Mass. The Mass will be at the old fairgrounds next to the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium, which sits across the Border Highway from South Campbell Street to U.S. Highway 54. That portion of the highway may be closed to allow people to safely gather in the area.

Officials expect people to gather whether the road closes or not. The Pope's visit is February 17th and his mass is expected to draw thousands from all over the world.
