Annual Doggie Swim Day Happening Next Weekend In El Paso

One of dog owners favorite events is coming up next weekend! Bring your furry friend to celebrate Doggie Swim Day!

El Paso Parks and Recreation are preparing for one of the funnest, pet-friendly events that they have all year! Celebrate the end of summer by coming to Northeast El Paso for the 9th annual Doggie Swim Day in Northeast El Paso! The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th. The event is held every year giving local dogs a chance to enjoy the Nations Tobin Pool before it closes for the season. There will be several dog-friendly events planned during the weekend that you and your furry family members can enjoy.

Admission to these events is only $2 per dog and owners are free! To bring your dogs to this amazing event, you must also bring a copy of your dog's shot records showing that they are up to date on rabies, distemper and parvo vaccinations. Dog adoptions will also be on-site for this event so you can find a new family member too! The City of El Paso Animal Services will also be on-site checking dog's microchips to help owners make sure that their pets information is up to date.
