An El Paso “Local Loca” Honors Her Rock Idols

There are several really good, all-female tribute bands out there and three of them feature a beautiful and talented El Pasoan on vocals!

There are so many tribute bands out there, I could never list them all.  Even just cutting it down to the all-female ones, leaves too many to mention. From Black Sabbitch to the Iron Maidens, there is no shortage of female hard rock and Heavy Metal tribute acts.

3 of the best ones feature a former El Pasoan on vocals. Thunder-Her-Struck, (AC/DC), Bebe Le Strange, (Heart) and Hammer Of The Broads, (Led Zeppelin) each fronted by the incredible Dyna Shirasaki.  Dyna sings for those bands, is a solo artist and has also played bass for Warbride, Sister Strange, 12 Angry Men and Phantom Blue. On top of all the regular gigs, Dyna and company also occasionally perform at charity events including the 2018 Riding For Boobs event held in El Paso last October.

It's always great to see Local Locos ... and Locas alike ... do well.  Cheers Dyna, keep kickin' ass!!
