Forget the Pirates of the Caribbean, how'd you like to dodge Mexican drug cartels, swim through dirty water and hide from border guards for fun?

Parque EcoAlberto, an amusement park in Hidalgo Mexico is, by day, a fun place to go. It features zip lines, water attractions, pools, kayaking and lots of other cool "touristy" stuff; along with several restaurants and bars. Saturday nights though, the place takes a different approach to family entertainment with the “Caminata Nocturna,” a simulated but, very realistic, illegal border crossing.

Folks pay to hide from border officials, get roughed up by criminal gangs, wade through a swamp of raw sewage, get shot at by police, run through cactus fields and face a few ghosts too. Rumor has it that, if the guards catch you, you win a simulated prison experience complete with crappy food, in cell murders and complimentary sodomy! (Kidding)

Sure, wtf?  Any amusement park "ride" that leaves me exhausted, filthy, beaten and possibly shot sounds like a hoot. Anyone wanna go?
