Amon Amarth Coming to Tricky Falls This Weekend

Tricky Falls seems to be cranking out good shows nonstop right now!

Tricky Falls made my day by announcing another fantastic show coming in April! We already know Ghost is going to be rocking the venue on April 22nd, but now we know the Vikings will be taking the stage earlier in the month!

Amon Amarth is every Viking/ Tolkein geeks dream, with the name being the Sindarin name of Mount Doom in Middle Earth. The band’s lyrics deal with Viking mythology and their history. Not to mention that the band typically performs onstage on half a Viking ship, while the lead singer always has a drinking horn hanging from his hip. The first time I saw this band, I was in awe at their stage set up and the power they possess onstage. One of the best shows I have seen!

Amon Amarth are coming to Tricky Falls on Saturday, April 9th. Tickets are $22.50 and go on sale this Friday, January 29th at 10 a.m. You can purchase your tickets on Ticketfly. Doors open at 7 p.m. and support for this show includes Exmortus, a group of relatively young musicians with a heavy thrash metal sound. Also on the bill is Swedish heavy metal band Entombed.
