Get in the wind today with The American Legion Riders to help out homeless area veterans!

The American Legion Riders run today (11/10/13) benefits the El Paso Coalition For The Homeless Veterans Transitional Living Center.  According to homelessopportunitycenter.org, the goal of the program is "to transition veterans from homelessness into permanent housing".

Veterans also receive assistance with school and are connected with supportive services through the VA (substance abuse, medical and psychiatric.) Residents clean and maintain the facility themselves.

It's an absolute outrage that so many men and women who served this great country now find themselves homeless.  Whether you ride or not, hopefully we'll see you Sunday to help the cause. The Vets gave their all, it's our turn!

Registration is at Barnett Harley - Davidson from 10:30 - 12:00. From there, stops are: Macadoos on Wedgewood, Incredibles on Alabama, American Legion Post 832 on Bassett Ave and, finally, Erins on N. Mesa.

That's where the party is!  Door prizes, raffles, an auction, a 50/50 drawing and a bike rodeo await you there.  Along with plenty to eat and drink and live rock from Vox Vendetta!!

For more info, call Sadie at 244-8701 or Robert at 474-2299.

Ride Safe!
