Yesterday, Sony Pictures decided to pull their new Seth Rogen and James Franco movie, The Interview" due to terror threats against moviegoers who would want to see this movie. Movie theater chains started canceling their showings of the movie when, citing concerns for their patrons. Celebrities voiced on Twitter their complaints and concerns about this decision, saying if the movie if pulled, the terrorists have won.

Instead of simply pulling the movie, the Alamo Drafthouse in Dallas decided they would show "Team America: World Police," instead of "The Interview." The theater said they would be showing the movie because, "THAT is how true American heroes will be celebrating this year, but if you want to let the terrorists win...well, that's your prerogative."

Unfortunately for all of us freedom loving, Team America fans, the theater has had to cancel their movie screening. The reason? Paramount Pictures is not offering the film to the theater to be shown. Alamo Drafthouse released this statement,

"Due to to circumstances beyond our control, the TEAM AMERICA 12/27 screening has been cancelled. We apologize & will provide refunds today."

Would you have gone to see "Team America: World Police" if it was offered here in El Paso? Or is it better to just let the controversy die and not stir up anymore trouble?
