After the Burial recently announced plans to drop off the Summer Slaughter tour following the death of guitarist Justin Lowe, but the band wanted to let fans know that his passing will not keep them from continuing. As such, they turned up at the Minneapolis stop of the Summer Slaughter tour with a message for fans.

Lowe exited the band in June with a conspiracy-filled letter to fans. It was soon revealed that the guitarist had gone missing and was "in a broken state of mind." In July, Lowe went missing from his family a second time. A search was organized and his body was found below a bridge in Wisconsin with injuries consistent with a fall.

After the Burial took some time before addressing the matter, eventually revealing their plans to drop off Summer Slaughter to mourn Lowe's death. But before they bowed out of the run, the band offered the following message at Friday night's show:

Before we go, we want you guys to know … we're not done. Justin would have never wanted us to stop, and we're going to keep moving forward. We're going to take time to gather ourselves. We'll be back. We will be back. And his music's going to live through us and through you guys.

At present, no dates are scheduled beyond what was to be their time on Summer Slaughter. Check out footage from their Minneapolis appearance above.
