Rock and roll ain't noise pollution!

ACDC concerts are known for being loud, powerful and something everyone should see at least once in their life.

Their recent concert stop in Auckland, New Zealand at the Western Springs Stadium was so loud that people four miles away across the Waitemata Harbour said that they could hear the rock and roll legends.

The sound during the concert was measured at 103 decibels and set off several car alarms during the concert. The venue holds about 30,000 spectators. Other recent performers concert were loud but were beat by AC/DC. Foo Fighters clocked in at 98 decibels, rapper Eminem at 101 decibels and the Big Day Out Festival at 101 decibels. The Auckland City Council received 27 noise complaints during the concert but the permitted maximum noise level measured is 107 decibels. The concert did not reach that amount, according to the manager of environmental health Mervyn Chetty.

The performance was in support of their "Rock or Bust" album and the concert lasted about 2 1/2 hours.
