If you have an iPhone and you don't want your every move tracked, you need to disable this feature.

Location Services is what it's called and many iPhone owners don't know it's there. Why worry?  What if you swear to family and friends that you're dieting and this stupid thing shows a dozen trips to Chico's Tacos?  What if you have an accident and it shows that you'd been at Rosa's Cantina?  Even if you just had some of their awesome mexican food and didn't drink, it can look bad.

Want your lady to see that all your business meetings happen at the Red Parrot? I didn't think so, here's how to disable it:

  • Go to Settings on your home screen.
  • Select Privacy
  • Tap Location Services
  • Go to System Services
  • Go to Frequent Locations
  • Go to History

Tap a city to see everywhere you've been and, at this point, you can either choose Clear History or, turn the freakin' thing off.  To do that, slide the switch next to Frequent Locations to OFF.
