9-Year-Old Suffers Acid Burns After Sleeping With Her Phone

I've heard countless warnings about sleeping with your phone and this is another odd case.

A 9-year-old in England woke up in pain and ran to tell her mother Karly Retter, that she felt a burning sensation on her leg. Retter didn't think it was a big deal and told her to go back to bed. When they both woke up the next morning, they were surprised to find an iPhone shaped burn on the young girl's leg.

Her daughter, Olivia Jetter had woken up in the middle of the night due to the burning sensation that was caused from acid fluid that had leaked out her iPhone case. One of the hottest phone cases right now involve glitter water and now we all know that it is actually pretty acid. Doctors did confirm that Olivia did suffer a severe chemical burn and will most likely have an iPhone scar for the rest of her life.
