A 9 year-old elementary school student wowed his teacher and his parents with his school project that paid homage to his new favorite band- the Foo Fighters.

9 year-old Oliver Hood made an amazingly intricate stop-motion video for a school project, and decided he wanted to do it for the Foo Fighters. Oliver's mom Jackie told the Sunday Post that they took him back in September and that the boy was "captivated" by the band.

When he got home from the concert, he made a model of the band with his LEGOs. Shortly after the initial model was made, he was given an assignment in class, and he decided to make a stop-motion parody of the group's music video for "Learn To Fly." His mother said she barely saw him for two months.

Well, two months later and over 2,500 photos his video was done. Oliver put the LEGOs in different poses and backgrounds to recreate the video. He also taught himself how to make a stop-motion film, as well as edit the footage to make the final product. That final product amazed his parents and his teacher, Joe Grafton, who insisted they put it online in hopes that Dave Grohl would see it.

The video only has 3,000 views now but looking at all the time and skill it took to make this, that number will go up. Both Oliver and his older brother Benjamin want to be LEGO designers when they grow up. Although now Oliver said he might want to be a rock star too.
