5K “Border Run” Hosted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office

Join the El Paso County Sheriff's Office for their 2013 Border Run, a 5K race infused with 21 obstacles located throughout the trail. With quite a unique spin to the traditional 5K race, the Border Run offers an exciting event that is guaranteed to make your summer in the city one to remember. 

The obstacle course run will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013, with a fresh wave of runners every 30 minutes following the first group.

To sign up for the race, please follow the link to complete the registration form or visit the El Paso County Detention Facility on July 26 to register from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

The Border Run is an ideal event for the entire family as it not only provides a course for both adults and children but the opportunity to bask in the beauty of our picturesque city on a cool desert morning.
