31 Days of Horror Films for Halloween Day 31 – The Thing

Seeing as it's Halloween, I guess I can do more scary movies, right? There are so many great films out there, it's impossible to list them all, nor are all of them good. But this movie really deserves mention, since the scene with the dogs really messed me up for a couple days.

The Thing (1982)

Don't get this confused with the movie that came out last year, also called The Thing. That one is actually a prequel to this amazing movie! Kurt Russell and Wilfred Brimley lead this crew as they answer a mayday from another base in the Antarctic. They find everyone dead, a block of ice that looks like it used to contain something, a loose dog and the mystery begins.

What is killing people, what does it look like and who could it be next? Like I said, the scene in the dog kennel freaked me the hell out, man.
