31 Days of Horror Films for Halloween Day 24 – Motel Hell
Let’s go back again for another great (but really campy) horror film from 1980! This one stars an older actor, not really known up to then as a horror actor. But he did such a great job in this movie, you can’t help but love it!
Motel Hell (1980)
Rory Calhoun plays Vincent, a man running Motel Hello, a business with not only trouble with their neon sign, but a very special garden out back. He and his wife are checking in guests and doing something insane with them. Many people check in, and there’s a nice bit of gratuitous nudity, and a mostly-male liking for the Hotel’s homemade jerky. Hmmm…I wonder how they make that stuff?
