El Paso Hosts Two Motorcycle Runs This Weekend

Two events this weekend folks -- all are welcome. Whether you ride or not, you'll have a blast.

Saturday, head out with the Risen Dead MC. Entry is $10 per rider, $15 for rider and passenger and one pair of gently used shoes.

Registration is from 1-3 p.m. at Barnett Harley - Davidson. Then, it's off to the El Maida Shrine Temple on Alabama for some fun. The shoe drive and fund raiser are to benefit the American Soldier Network.

Sunday, more fun with the Rough Riders MC on their twelfth annual Turkey Run. Registration is noon 'til 1 p.m. at Freeway Power Sports on Gateway east, $10 per head.

First stop is Hineys and the last stop is VFW Post 6388 on Cananea Street.  That's where the party is with door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, food, drinks and live music.

Proceeds purchase turkeys for organizations assisting El Paso area families in need during the holidays. For more info, contact Jefe at (915) 603-6800.
