150k In Cash Siezed At El Paso Bridge

Who knew collecting cans could be so lucrative?

I recycle my paper and plastic and I save my aluminum cans. Not necessarily out of any full on attempt to save the planet mind you.  It's more of an "anything for a buck" mindset!

(My Coors Light cans alone get me a nice little rebate every month but even I've never done this good!!)

Something about Juan Morales and his 4 cases of soda made the officials at the El Paso Port Of Entry suspicious.  They (along with a dog) found over 150k hidden in the soda cans.

I wish my dogs could sniff out cash.  All they ever find me are old bones and dead birds.

Morales is being held in the El Paso County Jail without bond.

(What good would a bond do him anyway? They took all his money!)
