The last time Animal Control visited this house, over 50 dogs were recovered.

In 2013, 54 dogs and one cat were taken from a hoarder in East El Paso. Yesterday, El Paso's Animal Services Shelter rescued another 15 from the same home. According to the EP Times:

The 15 dogs are all small to medium sized and are being assessed by shelter veterinarians and staff. Some of the dogs are heavily matted, others have ticks and are dehydrated.

Once the dogs are cleaned up and deemed healthy, they will be put up for adoption. If you believe animals are being hoarded, you can report it to Animal Services by dialing 3-1-1. Animal cruelty can be reported to the El Paso Humane Society or the SPCA of Texas.

If you would like to adopt a pet, contact Animal Services, the Humane Society or Dames For Dogs.
